Meet The Team
Our Trustees
Our trustees are all volunteers who give their time generously to help run the Chapelton Community Association for the benefit of our brilliant community.
Alastair Struthers
Chair
Alastair was involved with Chapelton since before the first house was built but now works in the world of IT. He lives in town with his partner and his son and can often be seen striding purposefully around the trail in a desperate bid to get his steps in for the day. To level up his geek credentials he also presents a weekly Nintendo podcast!
Charlotte Litherland
Vice Chair
Hi, Im Charlotte, I live in Chapelton with my husband, children and two cheeky mini schnauzers. I enjoy gardening and growing veg in our allotment. I love living here because everyone is so friendly and I always bump into someone for a blether any time I go out. Its a great community to be a part of.

Gillian Steven
Treasurer
Hi everyone, my name is Gillian and I am originally from Ayr. I moved to Chapelton in 2016 and have loved watching the village grow! Life is busy with work, my two boys and a crazy pup but I still find time for drinking too much prosecco and spending time with family and friends! Looking forward to being more involved with the community and meeting new people!
Gillian Donald
Secretary
Hi I’m Gillian a born and bred Aberdonian. I moved to Chapelton 1 year ago with my family. Life is a crazy juggle of work , dog walking, family time , attempts at going to the gym and gin drinking. I love Chapelton’s community spirit and proud to be part of a team of trustees who give up their time to help make it a great place to live
Steve McLellan
Trustee
Hi, I'm Steve. Resident in Chapelton for 7 years and really happy to see how it is growing as I walk our dog Trixie round the development. I'm a keen cyclist and try to get out as much as weather permits. Always happy to stop for a chat if you see me out and about especially if you have any ideas for the CCA.
Erin Wood
Trustee
Hi, I'm Erin. I live in Chapelton with my husband, two girls, and our loud, young dog (apologies to close neighbours and anyone walking past our garden). We've been here since 2015 so have seen lots of changes along the way. I'm usually found busy with work, kids activities and walking the dog. I'm looking forward to seeing what activities and events are organised by CCA and members of the community going forward.
Coral Durán Puertas
Trustee
Hello! I’m Coral. I come from Marbella, Spain. The question is what am I doing in chapelton then? I’ve been in Scotland since 2009, I have a job that I love and a great family that started in Scotland. I love Chapelton because of the community spirit it has and I cannot be happier to be part of the CCA to even get it better!
